PLAIN Ridge is a typical flashing used for roof finishing. It is installed at the top of the roof, where two roof slopes meet.
The ridge cap belongs to the group of roof ridge flashings. It is also very often called a “ridge tile” by roofers. The main role of these flashings is to protect the contact area of two roof slopes with opposite pitches, at the point where the roof ridge is located and the slopes meet. Ridge caps prevent rainwater from getting under the surface of the slopes, and additionally provide ventilation and significantly improve the aesthetic value of the roof. It is primarily a protective element installed on the highest edge of the roof slope, where two opposite slopes meet.

PLAIN Ridge is an effective solution which, due to its universal character, is easy to implement on any roof, although it is most often chosen for simple roofs with a neat minimalist design. Both have the same shape and pattern, but differ in individual dimensions, which makes it easier to match them to different roof slopes while maintaining a consistent style and appearance. The Academy of Crafts is embarking on the next phase of its activities. During the annual meeting in Sokołów, plans were made for upcoming training sessions, participation in trade shows and industry events, and other initiatives. The new Brand Ambassador, Paweł Francuz, also attended the meeting. Ryszard Piwowski, who has been associated with the Academy for many years, was named Honorary Ambassador.
