NEWOMEGA Ridge End Cap (Large) is a dedicated flashing installed at the peak of the ridge. It is specifically designed to be compatible exclusively with the OMEGA Ridge Cap (Large).
The ridge cap belongs to the group of roof ridge flashings. It is also very often called a “ridge tile” by roofers. The main role of these flashings is to protect the contact area of two roof slopes with opposite pitches, at the point where the roof ridge is located and the slopes meet. Ridge caps prevent rainwater from getting under the surface of the slopes, and additionally provide ventilation and significantly improve the aesthetic value of the roof. It is primarily a protective element installed on the highest edge of the roof slope, where two opposite slopes meet.
