The eaves strip, often also referred to as KAPINOS, is an element of roofing. Unlike the gutter flashing, it is responsible for draining water from the membrane in front of the façade. Its main advantage is the stiffening of the roof membrane (which is glued to it), which enables efficient drainage of condensate outside the roof slope. It should be used in conjunction with the gutter flashing, which in turn facilitates the drainage of excess water from the roof directly to the gutter.
