Packages should be stored in dry, well-ventilated rooms to prevent moisture condensation between the sheets. Bulk packages should be placed on blocks about 20 cm above the ground. If the panels are to be stored for longer than 3 weeks from the date of manufacture, they should be inspected, and then individual sheets should be separated with spacers to allow for free air circulation. All information regarding storage methods and duration is provided directly on the protective film and product labels, as well as in our brochures, assembly instructions, and on our website.

A protective film is used to protect the roof panels from mechanical damage. It should be removed immediately during assembly, and the sheets should be protected from moisture and sunlight during storage. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in difficulty removing the film from the panels and adhesive residue.

Standing-seam panel roofs generally do not require any special maintenance. Nevertheless, regardless of the building’s location, to prevent any risk of premature aging, its wall and roof cladding must undergo regular inspections and maintenance at least once a year. Leaves should be removed from the panel surfaces, as they rot and cause discoloration of the sheet metal’s organic coating, as well as industrial deposits and dust (e.g., from lime plants, cement plants, steel mills, and mines, etc.), which, when reacting with water, damage the sheet metal’s paint coating. Any defects in the coating should be cleaned and touched up with special Touch-up paints.

1. Use electric oscillating or reciprocating shears, nibblers, and hand shears to cut sheet metal. It is prohibited to use tools that cause damage to the paint and zinc coatings during cutting due to heat generation, such as angle grinders.

2. The minimum recommended assembly temperature for PD510 roof panels is +5°C

3. You may walk on the roof only in shoes with soft soles, placing your feet in the troughs of the waves where the patches are located. Before walking on the roof covering, make sure all screws are tightened.

4. Minor damage to the coating that occurs during assembly can be touched up with touch-up paint. The surface must be cleaned of dirt and grease.

5. Steel shavings left over from cutting and drilling must be removed with a soft brush, as they can cause damage to the surface of the sheet metal when they rust.

6. Dirt that accumulates during installation work and during operation should be removed using standard cleaning products.

7. It is not permitted to use any sheet metal flashings (including chimney caps, gutter outlets, etc.) made of copper sheet metal on roofs and facades covered with galvanized or coated sheet metal.
