This year’s Valentine’s Day in Sokołów had a special, anniversary significance. On February 14, 2026, the headquarters of the Blachy Pruszyński Company was transformed into a hub of charity for the twenty-fifth time, hosting the 25th Charity Carnival Ball. For a quarter of a century, this annual event has brought together people with big hearts around a common goal: supporting students with intellectual disabilities at the Rev. Jan Twardowski Special Schools Complex in Pruszków. This year’s edition proved to be historic—thanks to the generosity of the guests, a record amount of 141,500 zł was raised.
For the Blachy Pruszyński Company, corporate social responsibility is not just a slogan, but a long-standing tradition and a genuine commitment to the development of the local community. Our partnership with the Children’s Aid Society at the Special Education School Complex in Pruszków helps create a better everyday life for the children in the facility’s care, giving them the sense that they are not alone in overcoming obstacles. The funds raised through auctions and raffles will be used in their entirety to finance specialized rehabilitation, modern teaching aids, and activities that support the children’s education and independence.
The success of this anniversary edition is the result of consistent collaboration among the business, civic, and local government communities. For years, the event has brought together the company’s partners, representatives of local institutions, and friends of the initiative around a common goal—providing tangible support to students at the Special Education School Complex in Pruszków. The presence of representatives from the Pruszków County authorities underscored the significance of the project and its importance for the entire region. Thanks to this long-standing cooperation, it is possible to systematically fund activities that lead to improvements in the quality of education and rehabilitation for children.
It’s worth taking this opportunity to look back at previous editions of the ball and see how this initiative has evolved over the years and what tangible assistance we’ve managed to provide together.
