The Academy of Crafts on the Road — Blachy Pruszyński Company Trains Roofers Throughout Poland

The Academy of Crafts has officially launched its nationwide training tour. The first event in the series took place on February 24 at the Training Center in Sokołów and brought together nearly 200 roofers from various regions of the country. The turnout and the participants’ engagement clearly confirmed that the industry needs practical knowledge, the exchange of experiences, and discussions about the real challenges that professionals face every day on construction sites.

The Academy’s program was designed with the specific needs of contractors in mind. During the one-day event, participants took part in three training modules focusing on issues that directly impact the quality and pace of project implementation. Topics discussed included proper substructure and spacing, the importance of adequate roof ventilation and its impact on the durability of the roofing material, methods for reducing noise, and system-specific details that shorten assembly time. An important part of the program was a series of workshops where we taught participants how to properly install NIAGARA gutter systems.

However, the Academy of Craftsmanship is not just about theory. A major highlight of the event was the opportunity to tour the production facility and its laboratory, where participants could see firsthand the entire process of manufacturing products from the Blachy Pruszyński Company—from raw materials to the finished product. For many, this was an opportunity to better understand the production technology and the technical specifications of the materials they work with every day. This type of knowledge directly translates into greater practical awareness and confidence when carrying out projects.
