Students from the Lublin University of Technology learned about modern construction technologies at the Blachy Pruszyński Company

Combining academic knowledge with industrial practice is one of the most important aspects of educating future engineers. The opportunity to learn about modern technologies, manufacturing processes, and the demands of today’s construction industry allows students to better prepare for their future careers.

As part of the visit, we had the pleasure of hosting students from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture at the Lublin University of Technology. The meeting provided an opportunity to learn about our company’s activities and products, as well as the modern solutions used in the construction industry.

The visit’s program included specialized lectures on topics related to the design and construction of buildings. Participants expanded their knowledge in areas such as lightweight curtain walls, materials testing, acoustics, fire resistance, certification processes for construction products, as well as the use of trapezoidal sheets, sandwich panels, and cold-formed profiles.

The technical portion of the event was led by Eliza Gissel, M.Sc. (Eng.), Head of the Technical Office at the Pruszyński Company, and Piotr O. Korycki, M.Sc. (Eng.), Management Board Representative for Implementation. Thanks to the speakers’ practical experience, the students were able to learn about the real-world challenges and solutions used in the construction industry.

Another highlight of the program was a tour of the production facility. Participants had the opportunity to observe the manufacturing process for building materials, as well as the operation of modern production lines and quality control systems.

The students also visited the Pruszyński Company Training Center, where roofers from all over Poland develop their skills and gain practical experience in assembly of roof coverings and facade systems.

Events of this kind provide a better understanding of the relationship between theoretical knowledge and engineering practice. For future professionals, they offer a valuable opportunity to learn about modern technologies, manufacturing processes, and the requirements of today’s construction industry.
