Promotion of TVN Turbo Rally Team after the Podlasie Rally!

The 41st Podlasie Rally debuted this year in the classification of the World Championships. Our crew from TVN Turbo Rally Team – Łukasz Byśkiniewicz and Daniel Siatkowski reached the finish line in the 9th position in the rally classification, and the points scored allowed them to be promoted in the season classification for the 6th place. This result, however, should be considered very good considering the “school” that all crews gave to the rally. As many as 24 cars did not finish the rally at all. A large part of the Podlasie Rally is gravel roads that are very demanding for both cars and crews. Especially the crews starting from further positions had to measure with already spreading routes full of ruts and boggy surfaces. On the one hand, such journeys for viewers are very effective, but also extremely ecbloying for crew and cars.

What’s more, Łukasz and Daniel had unlucky on the first special stages and the brake hose wiped on a circle in a gravel tire. This resulted in the fact that they had to go without the rear and manual brake! Despite such a difficult situation, Łukasz and Daniel finished both episodes, although they had a very large time loss. After the repair, which in practice was a small, though serious fault – with full impetus, they started to fight for the next stages. This attitude – the will of fighting and not giving up is certainly a common denominator who connects the crew of TVN Turbo Rally Team and Pruszyński sheet. The determination of rallyists was awarded the prestigious and very satisfying win in the Super Oes of this rally on the cobblestones in the center of Bialystok. Finally, they took 9th position, happily finishing the entire rally and all its episodes. We can be patient and wait for the next rally.
