Continuing their excellent form from the start of the season, Łukasz Byśkiniewicz and Łukasz Jastrzębski once again stood on the podium of the Polish Rally Championship. The TVN TURBO RALLY TEAM crew took 2nd place in the overall standings of the 10th Nadwiślański Rally, the second round of this year’s national championship.
The competition on the challenging special stages of the Lublin region provided fans with plenty of excitement. Byśkiniewicz and Jastrzębski maintained a fast pace throughout the weekend, fighting fiercely for the top spots. Ultimately, they finished the competition in second place, repeating the excellent result they achieved at the season-opening Świdnicki Rally.
With another podium finish, the Warsaw-Krakow duo has solidified its position among the very top of the season standings. After two rounds, the team is in 2nd place in the overall RSMP championship standings, trailing the leaders by just two points.
“We’ve broken the spell of the Nadwiślański Rally in fine style by taking 2nd place in the overall standings. This is my first podium finish in this rally, where I’ve always had my share of adventures. There was a scary moment this time too, but fortunately, it had no consequences. The rally was very difficult due to the slippery asphalt, which felt more like gravel. Kudos to the organizer for not blocking every corner with cut-off barriers, which made the rally a true, flesh-and-blood rally. We had a great battle with the guys. Even before the start of the season, I said that this year we’d witness fierce battles and that it’s hard to pick a clear favorite. And that’s beautiful, because we have genuine sporting competition at every rally. We’re very happy with the start of the season. After two rallies, we’re in second place in the standings, trailing the Szej brothers by a mere two points. Never before in my career have I had 56 points after two RSMP rallies. We’re very pleased with how everything is shaping up and look forward to more successful races. I’d like to thank my partners, with whom we’re able to put up a great fight on the special stages: BYŚ Recykling, Blachy Pruszyński, Kratki, Tekom Technologia, Anest Iwata Polska, AutoDna, Michelin, and TVN TURBO. I’d also like to thank my team, Xiqio Racing, for the excellent preparation of the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2,” said Łukasz Byśkiniewicz after the rally.
It was a wonderful rally for us, an incredible weekend full of excitement. We were in a tight battle with Adrian and Kamil right up to the very end. Łukasz wasn’t feeling his best—he had a cold, was coughing heavily, and was having trouble concentrating—which is why we’re all the more pleased with this second-place finish. We had a scary moment when we went off the road, but luckily we got back on quickly. We’re very happy to have secured second place again this season,” added Łukasz Jastrzębski.
This is the TVN TURBO RALLY TEAM’s second podium finish of the 2026 season. Their consistent and strong performance since the start of the championship allows us to look forward with optimism to the upcoming RSMP rounds, in which Byśkiniewicz and Jastrzębski will be serious contenders in the fight for the ultimate goal—victory in the overall standings and the championship title.
