Krzysztof Pruszyński Honored at the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Agatowa Ultrasound Clinic

Krzysztof Pruszyński Company was among those honored during the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of the Agatowa Ultrasound Clinic—one of Poland’s leading centers specializing in prenatal diagnostics and prenatal cardiology.

The anniversary celebration took place on May 29, 2026, in Warsaw and was combined with a scientific and training conference titled “Heart 360°—From Diagnosis to Comprehensive Care for Children with Congenital Heart Defects.” The event was attended by doctors, researchers, representatives of the medical community, patients, and individuals and institutions supporting the clinic’s development. One of the highlights of the program was the presentation of commemorative certificates to individuals whose commitment contributed to fulfilling the clinic’s mission and supporting the activities of the Warsaw Children’s Hospice Foundation.

The Agatowa Ultrasound Clinic is currently the largest perinatal cardiology referral center in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. It specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of fetal cardiovascular diseases, and its specialists are among the few doctors in the country who perform prenatal cardiac interventions. Each year, the clinic performs approximately 4,000 fetal echocardiograms, which lead to the diagnosis of nearly 1,000 congenital heart defects.

The unique nature of the clinic’s work stems not only from its medical achievements but also from its operational model. The facility operates within the Warsaw Children’s Hospice Foundation, and the funds it raises support the home hospice program for terminally ill children. As a result, modern prenatal diagnostics are combined with tangible assistance for the patients most in need and their families.

The clinic is also actively involved in research and education. Since 2018, it has been home to the Department of Perinatal Cardiology and Congenital Heart Defects at the Center for Postgraduate Medical Education. The center organizes training programs for physicians and carries out research projects in collaboration with domestic and international specialists in fetal cardiology.

Another key aspect of the clinic’s work is providing comprehensive support to families expecting a child with a diagnosed birth defect or serious illness. In addition to specialized diagnostics and medical consultations, patients can count on psychological support, assistance in arranging additional consultations, and support in planning further treatment and care for their child.

The award presented to Krzysztof Pruszyński is a token of appreciation for individuals who, through their commitment, support the development of initiatives of particular social significance. It also highlights the role of cooperation between the business community, social organizations, and medical institutions in implementing projects that promote health and improve patients’ quality of life.
