Big changes in our rally team – TVN Turbo Rally Team

Like all faithful, motor sports supporters with bated breath, we follow the next rallies of our team from TVN Turbo Rally Team. We informed you in the previous post that byśkiniewicz and Siatkowski scored a very dangerous -looking accident during the Silesian Rally. Fortunately, both Łukasz and Daniel came out unscathed. Unfortunately, this could not be said about their car – Hyundai i20 R5. There was absolutely no chance to bring the car to a state of use in a short time, so the team switched to Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo! Łukasz Byśkiniewicz in interviews revealed that for a long time he wanted to try how Skoda has been doing on the routes, but he never had the opportunity. In a situation where the opportunity arose and Hyundai is still out of order, the decision was obvious, the more that Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo is recognized by many drivers as the best rally car currently! Our crew tested Skoda for the first time in the Kłodzko Valley in very rainy conditions, on fragments of the Special Silesian Rally episode. As they admitted, these were not ideal conditions for testing and checking the full capabilities of the new car. Nevertheless – paradoxically it turned out that it was a very favorable circumstance. The next step was, of course, participation in the reactivated Wisła rally, which returned to the RSMP calendar after 7m years break!

The TVN Turbo Rally Team team, of course, started in it, just in the newly tested Skoda, and the rally itself took place in very rainy conditions. Although in the new, not quite well -known car, our crew scored an excellent performance taking a strong, 5th place. Thus, their debut can be considered very successful, because they equalized their best result from the current season, i.e. the 5th place in the Rzeszów Rally. What’s more, despite the unlucky course of the Śląska Rally, which firmly affected the crew points, the victory in the Wisła rally allowed our ralkers to advance from 7 to 6th position in the general classification. Congratulations! Naturally, we would not be real supporters if we did not count on more – you can certainly expect it. Such a good result, in a newly known, not well “burned” car, promises perfectly to the future position in the general classification.
