On July 24–25, the 26th National Roofers’ Day was held in Nałęczów—one of the most important events bringing together the roofing community in Poland. This year’s celebration was particularly special because the event was hosted by the Lublin Branch of the Polish Roofers’ Association, which was celebrating its 25th anniversary. Roofers, representatives of roofing material and roof accessories manufacturers, business partners, and individuals who have long been involved in the development of the Polish roofing industry gathered in Nałęczów.
As a sponsor of the Friday and Saturday portions of the event, we actively participated in the anniversary celebrations. The first day began with meetings among industry representatives and events organized by the hosts. In the evening, participants gathered for the traditional “Pearl Night” in Lublin, which kicked off this year’s celebrations for National Roofer’s Day. It was a time for conversation, sharing experiences, and bringing together the roofing community from all over Poland.
During Friday’s ceremonies, representatives of the Lublin branch of the Blachy Pruszyński Company presented the Lublin Chapter of the Polish Roofers’ Association with a commemorative token of appreciation, expressing their gratitude for 25 years of work toward the development of the roofing industry, training future generations of professionals, and building a strong and cohesive community of roofing contractors.
The Saturday portion of the event began with the Roofers’ Picnic, which took place at the Square of the Friends of Nałęczów Society. Throughout the day, visitors had the opportunity to explore the offerings of companies in the roofing industry, participate in demonstrations and contests, and meet with experts. The event was open to the public and attracted not only roofers from all over Poland, but also residents of Nałęczów and tourists visiting the city.
The celebrations culminated in a festive Roofing Gala held at the Arche Hotel in Nałęczów. The Blachy Pruszyński Company was represented at the event by, among others, Sales Director Rafał Kuczyński, who presented two commemorative awards. Bogdan Kalinowski received a thank-you for another year of fruitful cooperation with the Polish Roofers’ Association. Grzegorz Jabłoński, President of the Lublin Branch of the Polish Roofers’ Association, received a commemorative diploma marking the 25th anniversary of the Lublin branch’s activities.
National Roofers’ Day has long been one of the most important events bringing together the roofing community in Poland. It provides a forum for exchanging experiences, showcasing new technological solutions, and building relationships among contractors, manufacturers, and industry partners. For the Blachy Pruszyński Company, participating in this event is a natural part of its collaboration with the roofing community and an expression of support for initiatives that contribute to the development of the profession and the promotion of high standards in roofing workmanship. This year’s edition, combined with the 25th-anniversary celebration of the Lublin Branch of the PSD, was a special opportunity to highlight the importance of our long-standing collaboration and our joint efforts to shape the future of the Polish roofing industry.
