5,000 Smiles for Children’s Day — A Special Inclusive Concert by the INTEGRACJA JP II Foundation

On June 7, 2026, a special integration concert was held to celebrate Children’s Day, organized by the INTEGRACJA JP II Foundation. The event brought together nearly 5,000 children, primarily from special educational centers, special schools, associations, and foundations working on behalf of people facing difficult life circumstances in the Łódź Province.

The integration concert began at 3:00 p.m. The official opening was conducted by TV presenter Dorota Gardias and the president of the INTEGRACJA JP II Foundation, Fr. Piotr Turek. From the very beginning, the event was filled with an atmosphere of joy, integration, and shared celebration.

The first to take the stage was the Little Choir of Big Hearts, led by Bishop Piotr Kleszcz. The young artists performed pieces composed by their director, earning enthusiastic applause from the audience. The program also featured spectacular performances by the dance groups Czarne Stopy and Falling Stars, as well as artistic presentations prepared by folk ensembles affiliated with the Municipal Cultural Center in Wiśniowa Góra.

The highlight of the event was an energetic concert by singer Lanberry, who got both the youngest participants and their guardians up and dancing.

The organizers also provided numerous attractions and gifts. Each child received a package containing candy, toiletries, and educational materials. Participants were also treated to a hot meal, drinks, and 5,000 ice cream cones prepared especially for the occasion.

The project was made possible thanks to the involvement of many partners and sponsors who supported this initiative, which brought joy to children and young people. Among the companies supporting the event was the Blachy Pruszyński Company, which has for years been actively involved in community service and local initiatives aimed at building relationships and supporting those in need.

Local government officials and representatives of the Church served as honorary patrons of the concert. The organizers emphasize that the most valuable outcome of the event was the thousands of smiles and the opportunity to spend time together in an atmosphere of kindness, openness, and inclusion.

This year’s concert once again demonstrated that, through collaboration between community organizations, local governments, and socially responsible businesses, it is possible to create events that leave a lasting impression on participants and give children a sense that they are an important part of the community.
