These flashings secure the roof against the lifting of the covering by the wind and leaks along the side edges. VERGE FLASHINGS are usually made of steel sheet matched to the color and style of the roof covering. In addition to their protective function, VERGE FLASHINGS provide an aesthetic finish to the side edges of the roof, often integrated with facade elements.
