An improperly installed eave detail can lead to moisture penetration in the thermal insulation, deterioration of the wooden structure, and reduced effectiveness of roof ventilation.

Over-gutter flashing for metal roof tiles and trapezoidal sheets (THREE ventilation rows)

An over-gutter flashing, often referred to as a “KAPINOS,” is a component of the roof covering system responsible for directing water from the roof surface into the gutter. Its main function is to cause the flowing water to break away from the roof surface and redirect it to the Gutter.

Due to the specific nature of the assembly, our product line includes over-gutter flashing with a hem (featuring a distinctive “roof overhang,” designed for standing-seam panels and single-module metal roof tiles) and without a hem. Gutter strips without an overhang are primarily designed for assembly with double-module metal roof tiles and trapezoidal sheets.
